Jiangxi Kaiwei Luggage Co., Ltd.
A professional luggage manufacturer with more than thirty years of history, based in Xingan County, Jiangxi — one of China's luggage industry clusters. We run our own brands — MODINA (registered 2002) and Kaiwei (2006) — and manufacture OEM/ODM programs for brands at home and abroad, from shell forming to final packing, entirely in our own plant. Our products now sell in more than 30 countries.

Development history
Thirty years, one trade: luggage
1992 – 1997
Founded on craftsmanship
The founder begins in handcrafted luggage in Xingan, Jiangxi — five years devoted to pattern-making and sewing craft that still define our quality standard.
1998 – 2002
Surviving the state-sector shakeout
While state-run malls decline, the young company crosses China to clear inventory and learn national distribution — experience that built its sales network.
2003 – 2006
The MODINA brand is born
MODINA — registered in 2002 — anchors a full rebuild: the company relocates, builds a new plant, and shifts from workshop production to a full factory operation, expanding from fabric cases toward PC and ABS hard shells. The Kaiwei brand follows in 2006.
2011 – 2014
Semi-automated production
Production moves from handwork to semi-automated lines — 10 lines, 400–500 workers at peak — and Kaiwei cases earn Jiangxi Famous Brand status.
2015 – 2018
Online + offline, 3 million pieces a year
An omnichannel model takes annual output past 3 million pieces and annual output value to RMB 200 million, making Kaiwei a benchmark enterprise in Xingan's luggage industry.
2021 – today
Partnering with global brands
Deep cooperation with Satchi, Woodpecker, ACE, Herbalife and other domestic and international brands; R&D-led product upgrades drive the next stage of global growth.
